I occasionally use affiliate links in my blog posts. You might see them mostly in reviews or any other posts where I link to places you can buy things. I need to disclose when I use an affiliate link by law, so if there are affiliate links, there should be a disclosure of some sort. If you need any more info, that’s what this page is for!
What’s an affiliate link and why do I use them?
An affiliate link directs you to either a general page, like the Amazon homepage, or a specific product on that website. When you buy something via this link, I get a small commission at no extra cost to you. I spend a lot of time prepping and writing blog posts. Book blogging is a difficult niche to make any money from (not that that’s the reason I do it) and I don’t have ads on my blog, so affiliate links are a way to make a few pennies for my effort.
