My monthly wrap-up for February 2017!

Another month over… how is it almost March already?! I wrote a monthly wrap-up last month and people seemed to really like it, so I thought I’d make it a regular thing!  Here’s everything I wrote about in February, with handy links to each post.

Short Story Challenge: Introduction!

This month, I started a brand new challenge and I’m SO excited that people are getting involved! I created a Short Story Challenge for those who love to write. It’ll be a monthly challenge, so if you want to get involved, look out for the next one! Read all about the challenge here.

Review: Caraval by Stephanie Garber

I loved this book SO MUCH. It’s so full of magic and mystery and suspense, and it had be hooked! And not only that, but the covers are beautiful. You can get 5 different covers, and I love them all! I had a copy of the book from NetGalley, and after I finished it I went and bought the physical book. I just had to have it! Here’s my review!

Short Story Challenge #1: February 2017

The first ever Short Story Challenge commenced, and it was so exciting! I expected to get absolutely no response. So when people started sending me their stories, I was so happy! You’ll be able to read this month’s stories on 5th March, when the next challenge will go live. You should take part! Find out what this month’s challenge was!

Battle of the Books: Which Format is My Favourite?

There are so many ways to read books. You can get paperbacks, hardbacks, eBooks, audiobooks. I know people who’d prefer to have digital books, others who prefer listening to audiobooks, or a few who have towering shelves of hardbacks. Find out which one is my favourite!

32 Blog Post Ideas for Book Bloggers!

Sometimes, for book bloggers especially, it can be difficult to come up with enough ideas. Are book bloggers limited to writing about the books they read? Of course not! Are you getting a bit bored of only writing book reviews? I’ve put together a huge list of blog post ideas that I hope will inspire fellow book bloggers. Get some inspiration!

Review: The Rosie Project by Graeme Simison

I listened to this book as an audiobook, and I really enjoyed it. I liked the characters, the story and the narration was perfect! I’m going to start the sequel soon, which I’m a bit nervous about. Find out why in my post, and read my full review of the book!

My Hogwarts House: Why I Love Being a Hufflepuff

I love being a Hufflepuff – I have such massive pride in my house! Out of all of the houses, I think it’s the one least represented, and the most misjudged. There are so many reasons why, in my opinion, Hufflepuff is the best Hogwarts house. From the beautiful common room, great alumni and the admirable traits, I went through them all in this post!

Being Re-Sorted on Pottermore!

On Pottermore, you can be sorted into your Hogwarts house and your Ilvermorny house, find out your wand, and also find out what your Patronus is. In this post, I showed you what I currently have, and then created a new account to be re-sorted. A new Hogwarts house, new Ilvermoney house, a new wand AND a new Patronus. See what the results were!

Loot Crate: My Dream Crate!

Have you heard of Loot Crate? From collectibles, apparel, tech gadgets, art, and other epic gear, it’s like Comic-Con in a box! Like book boxes that you might know of, it’s a subscription service that gets delivered to your door each month. I was asked by Loot Crate to put together my Dream Crate! It’s a project they’ve put together to see what people can come up with, and they might even make one of the crates. Here’s mine!

I hoped you liked this month’s posts! I’ve kind of fallen off the reading train at the moment. Apart from listening to an audiobook now and then, I’ve been so busy that I’ve had no motivation to read. I really hope that picks up soon so I can get back to writing some book reviews!

I’ve got some very exciting plans coming very soon (hopefully). There’s a lot of planning to do, and it’ll probably take at least a month to get it planned and sorted, but I can’t wait!

Hope you had a great February, and I’ll be back with a new post soon!
