Festive Treats: Chocolate ‘Merache’

A few days ago, my housemate and I made an icing similar to a chocolate ganache for a cake that she baked – we mixed melted chocolate with whipped double cream. After topping the cake with it, there was a lot of the mixture left so I did what I do best with leftover chocolate – I experimented with it. I came up with something that my mum called ‘chocolate merache’: the cream and chocolate mixture mixed with meringue.
