If you’ve been reading my blog for a long time, at least a few months, you might remember that I was nominated for the Liebster Award. I don’t think my answers were great because the post was written so early on (it was less than my 10th post on my blog). I’ve been nominated again by ReaderInterrupted, so even though I’ve already done this, I’m going to do it again! The rules have also slightly changed since the last time I did it too, so it’ll be a bit different.
The Liebster Award is a great way of bringing attention to other bloggers that you feel deserve recognition, and the rules are simple! 1) You must acknowledge the person who nominated you and display the award; 2) Answer eleven questions that the blogger gives you; 3) Give eleven facts about yourself, and 4) Nominate 11 blogs that you think are deserving of the award. After you’ve answered the questions, make sure you tell the bloggers you’ve nominated that you’ve nominated them, and give them 11 more questions to answer. Here are my answers!
Yesterday I was tagged in the This or That Book Tag by Ayunda at Tea and Paperbacks. Thank you to Morgan at Happy Ever Bookish for tagging me. I wanted to do this tag as I read her post so when I saw I was tagged, I was so happy!
Here are the rules:
-Mention the creator of the tag.
-Thank the blogger who tagged you!
-Choose one of the options.
-Tag 10 other people to do this tag and spread the love!
One of my favourite book series is the Unwind series by Neal Shusterman. The books are set in a dystopian world where children over the age of 13 can be ‘unwound’: in other words, their bodies can be taken apart piece by piece and the government decides who to give them to; people who need them most. The books specifically follow three characters, Connor, Risa and Lev, as they are sent to a ‘Harvest Camp’ (gross, I know) to be unwound. The books are written so well and I love the characterisations and the setting.
It was news to me a couple of days ago when I saw on Neal Shusterman’s Facebook page that he shared a link to some news about an Unwind film adaptation – and I don’t know if I’m excited or nervous…
