I use affiliate links in my blog posts. It’s law that I disclose when I use an affiliate link, so I do that with a * and a note in my sidebar. If you need any more info, that’s what this page is for!
What’s an affiliate link and why do I use them?
An affiliate link directs you to either a general page, like the Amazon homepage, or a specific product. When you buy something via this link, I get a small commission at no extra cost to you. I spend
half my life a lot of time prepping and writing blog posts. I don’t have ads on my blog, so affiliate links are a way to make a few pennies for all of my effort!
(I’m being serious when I say pennies. This month I’ve made 14p. But it all adds up, and I’m hoping to start using them more.)
These are the affiliate programmes I’m enrolled in, and will display links in most blog posts:
Wonderfully Bookish a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.co.uk.
