I am excited to bring you this post: the cover reveal for THE ONE WITH THE HEN WEEKEND by Erin Lawless! This is the third novella in Erin’s Bridesmaids series, and the cover is so pretty.

Are you ready for this cover reveal?!

The one with the Hen Weekend hi res

For fans of romantic comedies like Bridesmaids and Four Weddings & a Funeral, and bestselling authors Mhairi McFarlane and Jenny Oliver, this is a hilarious new romantic comedy series about one bride and her four best friends.

What are you currently reading, and what kind of books do you like to read most?

Erin: I am currently reading A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas. I read almost everything, and I do try to pick up a different genre to what I’ve just finished, where I can. Literature is this amazing buffet – why only try one cuisine!

What is the story behind the Bridesmaids series; what inspired them?

Erin: As I neared the age of 30, there’s been a mad explosion of weddings. In the summer it feels like every weekend is an engagement party, or a hen do, or a wedding itself. I myself got married in 2014 and I lived and breathed bridal for that entire year. The narrative of being a wedding guest (or knowing a bridezilla) has been so woven into the lives of my friends and I for so many years (and for so many years to come, no doubt) that I really wanted to capture some of that in a story.

What will you be working on next?

Erin: I already had another romcom in the works when I started writing the Bridesmaids series, and so I need to get back to that! A movie star, a fangirl and a posh estate… and I can say no more!

The One With the Hen Weekend is released on 15th September 2016, and you can pre-order it HERE for only 99p! See what else Erin has written HERE.

About the author

You’d probably like Erin Lawless; she’s quite nice.

She lives a happy life full of wonderful friends, in love with a man who buys her books instead of flowers. To mix things up a little, she write books where friends and lovers hit obstacles and (usually) overcome them. When she’s not doing that she’s reading absolutely everything she can get her hands on, spending an inordinate amount of time in pyjamas and running a fun-but-informative blog on British history.
