Celebrating Female Authors for International Women’s Day!

On one day each year, the whole world comes together to celebrate what I think, in my humble opinion, is the best species in the world: women! March 8th is International Women’s Day, and here at Wonderfully Bookish, I’m joining in the celebration with a few other great gals.

Flight of a Starling by Lisa Heathfield – Book Review

I was accepted to read Flight of a Starling by Lisa Heathfield recently on NetGalley and I was so happy! I met Lisa Heathfield at YALC this year and she was SO lovely. I loved her other books, Paper Butterflies and Seed (read my snippet reviews of them here), so I couldn’t wait to start this one. I’ll talk a little bit about meeting Lisa at YALC and then get straight to my review.

I read Flight of a Starling before I went to YALC in July. It's the third book by Lisa Heathfield that I've read and loved! Here's my review.
