Top 5 Wednesday: Most Unlikable Characters

27th July 2016

top 5 most unlikable characters

It’s not often I dislike a book character; they have to do something really awful or just generally be a horrible person for me to dislike them. Otherwise, I’ll just not have a very strong opinion about them. This means that for this week’s Top 5 Wednesday, I really had to rack my brains to think of some truly unlikable characters. There are a couple of minor characters, some protagonists, and one that is maybe a bit controversial (please don’t hurt me). I’ll start with the more minor characters and work up to the major ones…

Top 5 Wednesday (on Monday): Recent Additions to my Wishlist

25th July 2016

My top 5 recent additions to my wishlist

Okay, so I should probably begin this post by apologising. It’s been over a week since I last posted anything, but for good reason… I graduated from university! My twin sister Emily graduated a week before me, and I graduated on Wednesday. I now officially have a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Film & TV Production, and I couldn’t be happier. Now to move on to the next chapter of my life, which is exciting but slightly terrifying.

Now’s time to get back to regular posting. Today’s post should have been posted on Wednesday but as I said above, Wednesday was my graduation day so writing a blog post wasn’t really my top priority! This week’s Top 5 Wednesday is recent additions to my wishlist, which is probably one of the easiest ones to answer because my wishlist is almost as long as my TBR pile. Let’s go!

Harry Potter Spells – Book Tag

11th July 2016

Harry Potter Spells Book Tag

When I saw that I was tagged in the Harry Potter Spells book tag, I was so excited! I was tagged to do this by Lauren at Comma Hangover. I haven’t seen this tag before and as a super massive Harry Potter nerd, I can’t wait to do it! This tag involves thinking of books that match each spell. Let’s get started!

Top 5 Wednesday: Books Outside My Comfort Zone

6th July 2016

Favourite books outside my comfort zone

I decided I wanted to take part in Top 5 Wednesday ages ago, but I kind of got distracted and never did it. I drafted some posts and everything, but I never got around to actually posting them. This month I’m actually going to do it!

Top 5 Wednesday is a challenge hosted in a Goodreads group. Prompts are posted for each Wednesday of the month and the goal is to think of five things in that topic. Today’s topic is “my favourite books outside my comfort zone”. For example, nonfiction if you usually read fiction or contemporary if you usually read fantasy. This will be hard to pick five because I don’t often read things out of my comfort zone, but I’ll try my best!
