This year seems to be the year of me giving myself more and more projects to work on, and one of them is a brand new podcast that I am so excited about!
Let’s Learn About… is a podcast that teaches you all you need to know about things you didn’t know you wanted to learn about. What’s more fun than learning random facts you can repeat to your friends and seem super smart?!
Each episode, we’ll learn about a new topic—anything from science and academic subjects to fandoms and pop culture—and then let you know where you can go if you want to learn more. It’s the ultimate podcast for nerds and geeks who love to learn something new.
I’m not doing this alone though – I’m doing it with my pal Ellie from FoxyTravelsUK! I first interviewed her on my Wonderfully Bookish podcast and we clicked straight away, so I knew that she’d be perfect to do this new podcast with me. We’ve recorded four episodes so far and we’re having so much fun!
So far, we’ve published two episodes: one about Sarah Churchill who was a close friend of Queen Ann (you might have heard of her if you’ve seen the film The Favourite), and the second episode was about Saturn, my favourite planet.
We’re going to be taking it in turns to lead an episode and teach each other (and you!) about random topics that we find interesting – anything from people throughout history, historical events (just wait until you hear the episode we recorded today about the Great Emu War of the 1930s), pop culture, science, and anything else that takes our fancy.
This is the ultimate podcast for nerds who always like to learn new things, and/or people who love a good pub quiz and want to expand their general knowledge.
