Warner Bros Studio Tour | Photo Diary

Nov 9, 2017 | Other Bits & Bobs

Recently, my sister Emily and I went on an early birthday trip to London. We had a whole Harry Potter weekend planned: day 1 was the Warner Bros Studio Tour in Leavesden, and day 2 was a visit to the Harry Potter: A History of Magic exhibition at the British Library. They were both such fun days and even though we were exhausted, it was so worth it!

We went to visit the Warner Bros Studio Tour during the Dark Arts feature. I took some photos while I was there and I'm sharing them with you here!

This was actually my third trip to the Studio Tour. I’ve been once when it was just a regular day, once when it was all Christmassy, and this time, it was close to Halloween so they were celebrating everything Dark Arts.

I absolutely adore the Studio Tour. Seriously, I could live there. The props and costumes, the stunning sets, and the amazing model of the Hogwarts castle at the end of the tour are enough to make you want to stay forever!

The past two times I’ve been, I haven’t taken my photos. I was too wrapped up in studying everything and reading every sign to remember to get my camera out. This time, though, I took my brand new Canon camera with me to take plenty of photos. I’m so glad I did because I’m proud of some of the shots I took!

If you haven’t been to the Studio Tour yet and you don’t want to be spoiled, look away now. However, if you want to live through my trip and see some of the photos I took, carry on this way. I’m going to share some of my favourite photos from the 150+ I took. I hope you like them!

The horrible scene when Charity Burbage, Professor of Muggle Studies, is brutally killed by Nagini in The Deathly Hallows

The disgustingly pink office of everyone’s favourite character, Professor Umbridge (I’m joking, I promise)

This is Colin Creavey’s luggage, but I totally like to pretend it’s mine. Same initials and everything, and a camera. It’s so obviously mine!

This is another new section of the tour – the mass of letters flying around the Dursley’s house in The Philosopher’s Stone. I love it!

You know what I was saying about the incredible Hogwarts castle? Yep, this is how amazing it is. I want to live in that castle model. It’s probably big enough.

There’s an amazing room at the end of the tour where you can see hundreds, maybe even thousands, of wands all stacked up like in Ollivander’s shop. Fun fact: all of the cast and crew have their names on these boxes. Another fun fact: every single one of these boxes and labels are handmade by the props team. Incredible!

What do you think of my photos? Have you been to the Studio Tour? It’s the most magical place, especially at Christmas time. If you get the opportunity to visit, it’s 110% worth every penny.

If you liked this post, I might start doing photo diary posts like this more often. It’s so much fun to share my photos with you, so if you liked this post, let me know if you’d like to see more!
